The Wisdom and Eloquence of Ali (a.s.)
A Parallel English-Arabic Text.

Nahj Al-Balāghah: The Wisdom and Eloquence of ʿAlī is a renowned collection of sermons, letters, and sayings of ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib (d. 40/661), compiled by al-Sharīf al-Raḍī (d. 406/1015). The work captures ʿAlī’s own words on his life, struggles, and profound reflections on piety, virtue, justice, and compassionate leadership. In this critical edition, Tahera Qutbuddin draws from the earliest 5th/11th-century manuscripts to present a carefully researched, annotated translation that highlights the literary brilliance and moral depth of this foundational text. It vividly demonstrates why Raḍī titled the work Nahj Al-Balāghah—“The Way of Eloquence.”
